A Star Wars Inspired Yoga Class

Yoga from a Galaxy Far Away: A Star Wars themed yoga class exploring the universal themes in the films and how they can relate to our own lives. 

Before Star Wars breakout success in 1977, George Lucas found inspiration in a 2500 year old Hindu Epic, The Ramayana. Join us as we explore the hero archetypes that inspired Star Wars through yogic postures and movement in a practice inspired a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.... The class will include 60 minutes of movement with breathwork, and close with 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra.  Cosplay is encouraged but not required. Just make sure you can move comfortably!

BYOP (Bring your own props, suggest yoga mat, 2 blankets, yoga blocks, a bolster or firm pillow, a strap or belt, and anything else for your comfort during Restorative and Yoga Nidra) and a journal or paper as there will be some time for reflection and intention setting at the beginning of the practice.
